Commercial Manager- Rail Project

We are looking to source 2 x Commercial Managers for a major rail organisation based in Sydney who is delivering a program of works worth over $300 million on Sydney Metro West. The portfolio will be split evenly between the two Commercial Managers and this is an exciting opportunity to get in at the very start of this six year project.

Suitable candidates would be expected have the following experience:

🎯 Have managed contracts with tier one contractors.
🎯 Solid contracts knowledge on major infrastructure projects.
🎯 Understands the risks on the project and in the contract.
🎯 Can forsee potential disputes or contractual issues before they arise.
🎯 Prepare and execute risk mitigation strategies.
🎯 Aim for win win solutions for all parties.
🎯 Strong stakeholder management skills and able to build relationships.
🎯 Commercially and contractually savvy.
🎯 Able to handle pressure and make decisions autonomously.

These permanent roles are hybrid positions, 3 days in the office two days at home. The expected salary is up to $265,000 base plus super and 15% annual bonus. Candidates must be based in Australia and have work rights.
